Aleppo, Syria– Islamist rebels targeted headquarters of the Syrian regime in Aleppo city and its countryside earlier this week. At least 12 regime soldiers were killed on Monday while several others were injured, local sources reported.
Ismail Aziz, a lawyer based in Aleppo city, told ARA News that fighters of the Islamic Front, Jabhat al-Nusra and the Mujahideen Army have jointly launched attacks against the regime headquarters in Aleppo.
“Rebels operations in Aziza village (in Aleppo countryside) resulted in the death of 6 regime. Heavy machine guns were used in Aziza battles,” said Aziz. “Rebels have also destroyed a regime military vehicle loaded with ammunitions and weapons.”
“6 other regime soldiers were killed as fighters of the Islamic Front, Jabhat al-Nusra and the Mujahideen Army targeted with mortar shells a regime headquarter in Sheikh Najjar village close to the Industrial area in Aleppo,” Aziz reported on Tuesday.
