Aleppo, Syria− At least 12 civilians were killed and several others were injured in Aleppo province on Tuesday, after the Syria regime air force dropped explosive barrels on the villages of Kafar Hamra and Orim al-Kubra in the western countryside of Aleppo, north of Syria.

Ismail Aziz, human rights activist based in the city of Aleppo, told ARA News that the explosive barrels were dropped from helicopters linked to the Syrian air force, and targeted residential buildings in the areas (west of Aleppo).

“Bombardment of Kafar Hamra claimed lives of ten people, while two were killed in Orim al-Kubra on Tuesday,” Aziz said. “Dozens of others were injured and transferred to field hospitals in the nearby town of Atareb.”

On the other hand, four pro-regime militants were killed on Wednesday morning during clashes with opposition fighters in Aleppo city.
